Covid-19 is probably the last thing you want to think about, but we couldn’t start a blog without touching on the heartbreak of the past 18 months. Of course, it’s been difficult, but after a busy summer, we thought we’d focus on the positive, and share a stunning real wedding with you.
So here it is, Charlotte and Lewis’ wedding journey. And how our incredible Head of Sales Mel went above and beyond to help make their special day a reality.
“We were absolutely devastated when the pandemic started. We had looked forward to our wedding day for so long and to have it postponed not just once, but twice was heart-breaking.
The planning and stress that goes into preparing for your wedding is crazy. And having to do that three times completely took the enjoyment out of it.
Our fear was our wedding day not being what we’ve dreamed of for so long.
We were constantly worrying. Every time we became excited that our wedding day was approaching, we had the dreaded fear that we would have to postpone again.
But Mel was incredible. She kept us updated all the time and was always available for us. She put our worries at ease and did everything she could to try and reduce our anxiety.
Mel has been on our journey with us since day one. She witnessed me sob down the phone when we were informed our day was being postponed and she was there making sure our day ran smoothly when it finally happened.
Every bride needs someone like Mel. That way the wedding day will be perfect.”
And perfect it was! A day brimming with laughter and love. Tweed suits, burnt orange ties, and a bouquet of pure sunshine. Charlotte, Lewis and their guests were a pleasure to host, and we felt so privileged to finally share in their special day.
